My name is Steve Root and just like you, I am many things.
My business is Roots Kitchens Bedrooms Bathrooms – www.roots.uk, we specialise in the design, supply and installation of kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms from a showroom near Canterbury, UK.
I volunteer as a Civilian Instructor with the RAF Air Cadets Squadron teaching aviation subjects, camping and navigation skills. As a teenager I qualified as I pilot
I have been described as an adventurer and I like that.
I’m a member of Rotary, giving my time and energy to ‘do good things’ in the community.
Some say I’m good with computers. I created my first web page in 1997. More recently I made https://stampulator.sroot.eu/ – it works out which combination of 1st and 2nd class stamps you need to use on letters and parcels.
https://birthday.sroot.eu – it calculates when an [anniversary]/[birthday]/[excuse for a party] would be if you were [born on another planet]/[distance travelled around the sun]/[other arbitrary numbers].
Occasionally I create a YouTube video, I like that I’ve helped over 300,000 people fix their oven doors, discover that I don’t know how to cook, as well as view a scientific test of hobs with built in extractors.
